Barcelona name 23-man squad for Club World Cup

Luis Enrique has named a squad of 23 players for the Club World Cup in Japan.

The likes of Lionel Messi, Neymar, Luis Suarez and Andres Iniesta will all be on the plane to Asia.

Youngsters like Sergi Samper, Gerard Gumbau, Munir and Sandro Ramirez, have also be selected.

The tournament will be played between December 10 and 20. Barcelona will take on either Club America or Guangzhou Evergrande in the semi-final on December 17.

Enrique’s men will be looking to clinch their third Club World Cup.

GOALKEEPERS: Marc-Andre Ter Stegen, Claudio Bravo, Jordi Masip.

DEFENDERS: Jordi Alba, Douglas, Gerard Pique, Javier Mascherano, Marc Bartra, Dani Alves, Adriano, Thomas Vermaelen, Jeremy Mathieu.

MIDFIELDERS: Ivan Rakitic, Sergio Busquets, Andres Iniesta, Sergi Roberto, Sergi Samper, Gerard Gumbau.
