Force the entire first team to train with the U-12′s and have them change into their kits in their Bentleys; the dressing room is for footballers only.
You may have thought this fixture was a lock for a chelsea victory. You may have thought the draw with Tottenham would be the start of something new and positive.
It doesn’t matter what you, I, or anybody thought; it’s all about what Jose Mourinho thinks. As it always has been.
I officially tender my resignation from his fan club, and put forth my vote for a change of management.
Everybody says, “Chelsea have such quality players! This makes no sense!” And it’s true. There was no chances to be taken today, no verve, not a single moment of creative spark that would inspire anything resembling a goal.
And it’s such a tragedy that these players can’t even muster a goal of their own craft, it has to be handed to them. There’s nobody to help them find their own way. That nobody has a name, and its Mourinho.
A coach is supposed to see a problem and fix it. He’s supposed to be the father-figure with the gusto to inspire his sons to find the answer within themselves, and he’s failed.
If he doesn’t resign, it’ll be an absolutely indignant disgrace. This man has taken months off of preciously brief careers of world-class players who have beaten immense odds to achieve the status of being called a Chelsea player. They have tried and toiled and sweat and cried for this club. So much investment of currency and spirit has been put into this behemoth of a sporting empire, that it’s almost comically ironic that a single man has dragged it down past the gutters into hell.
You all know me by my sardonic, negative, and apocalyptic nature of writing. I tell you I’m a happy guy the rest of the time, and I was much happier last season.
But now do you see what I see? Now do you see past the blue-tinted glasses?
Chelsea are in ruins.
